Quiet Ambition: Building HACOY Beyond Trends

Maximilian Rupp

Maximilian Rupp @maximilianrupp

Founder of HACOY. Painter. Writes about non linear thinking and conscious living.

I started HACOY with a vision of creating an ethical fashion brand. It was not about chasing every trend but about building something enduring. There are times when I sit in my studio, paintbrush in hand, and reflect on the choices that led me here.

In the early days, I had to learn to navigate the complexities of running a business without letting it overwhelm my creative process. It was then that I began to build small local AI agents. These agents take over tasks such as inventory management and customer service, parts of the brand I no longer wanted to handle by hand.

The quiet ambition at HACOY is not about making loud statements but about creating pieces that speak for themselves. I find joy in the simplicity of a well crafted garment, whether it’s made in Italy or Lithuania. It reminds me why I started this journey: to offer quality and sustainability without compromise.

My approach extends beyond fashion into my writing on non linear thinking and conscious living. These areas are not about fitting into trends but about finding clarity amidst chaos. There is a sense of calm that comes from aligning one’s work with deeper values.
