When I paint, time slows. The world outside fades and the canvas demands all of my focus. Each brushstroke is a decision, a commitment to color and shape that cannot be undone without consequence. This immediacy in painting reminds me of the daily choices I make with HACOY. Every design, every material choice, every marketing move is a stroke on our brand's canvas. There are no do overs, only adjustments and new layers. The same goes for my small AI agents that handle parts of running the brand. They require precise instructions, much like planning out a painting session. There’s an art to delegating tasks so that they align with the overall vision. I keep a sketchbook by my side when I paint. It's filled with rough drawings and notes on color theory, ideas for new pieces. This practice of keeping a visual journal has taught me the importance of documenting the process in business. Not just the end results but the journey itself, both its triumphs and failures. Sometimes, I find myself painting late into the night. The quiet of the evening allows my mind to wander freely. It’s during these times that some of my best ideas emerge. This solace in solitude has taught me the value of introspection in running a brand. It's not just about making things; it's about understanding why you make them and what they say about who you are.
