Lessons from Canvas: Running HACOY

When I am not writing about non linear thinking or conscious living, I paint. The canvas is my second home. It’s where I learn to slow down. Running HACOY takes many forms of energy. Painting reminds me that even when progress seems slow, every brushstroke adds up. There is a quiet joy in mixing colors and watching them blend. In this way, it mirrors running HACOY. No two days are the same. Some days I am working with new AI agents, some days I’m painting a new piece. Each requires patience and precision. The canvas teaches me to be patient. The small details matter in both worlds. A single incorrect brushstroke on canvas can ruin a piece of work. But it is also true that one good line can make the entire painting come alive. In running HACOY, I find myself constantly looking for these moments where a small detail makes all the difference. It’s the little things. There are days when I sit by my window and paint. The sun sets over my shoulder and paints the sky with hues of orange and pink. Then it dawns on me how much my painting has shaped HACOY.
