Agents That Knock

Maximilian Rupp

Founder of HACOY. Painter. Writes about non linear thinking and conscious living.

It was a quiet afternoon when I found myself in front of my easel, brushes loaded with pigment, painting the colors that come from non linear thinking. There is always the urge to take on more than can be managed alone by hand. In these situations, it makes sense to find help that does not impose itself. HACOY has grown beyond what I ever imagined when I started this venture years ago. It began in a small studio in Italy and now extends across continents.

My days are filled with writing about conscious living and painting the world as I see it. But there are things that need doing to keep everything running smoothly. This is where the agents come in. Small, local AI entities designed to handle the mundane parts of running my brand. They knock instead of shout. The first time one of these agents sent me a notification on my phone I could not help but smile at its polite manner. It did not demand attention like some apps are programmed to do.

I remember sitting in a small cafe, the sun was just setting and casting long shadows across the cobblestones outside. My coffee had grown cold while I typed away on my laptop in that quiet space. A message came through about an order. The agent could have made it flash red or buzz repeatedly but instead, it simply popped up with a gentle notification. It knew to not intrude too much.

These agents are more than just tools for efficiency. They represent a shift towards a different kind of technology. One that respects boundaries and understands the importance of subtle communication.
